The goal for DHAW's website is to provide members with a comprehensive and user-friendly online resource. DHAW will continually expand and grow the DHAW website with cutting edge information, resources, links and tools.

Information Resource
Membership keeps you updated on information affecting our profession. The "News and Events" tab will keep you posted on current topics and legislative issues affecting the dental hygiene profession in Wisconsin. check out past issues of the DHAW Journal include updates on Pre-medication, Sealant Placement, Tobacco Cessation interventions and drug interactions.

Visibility in State and Local Communities
DHAW members advocate for oral health through leadership and representation in various organizations such as WI Rural Health Development Council, WI Oral Health Coalition, state and local Public Health Departments, Technical College Dental Hygiene training programs and health organizations such as Tobacco-Free Coalitions, State Maternal and Child Health Advisory Committee and Governor's Task Force on Oral Health Access.

Networking Opportunities, Leadership Opportunities and Education & Training
DHAW membership allows you to participate in activities that allow for the opportunity to network. Being a member gives you the opportunity to meet and learn from other professionals, share your information and skills, and experience the support of other hygienists and health professionals.

• Become an active member of DHAW! It’s an excellent way to learn new skills, and you will be working with fellow hygienists to enhance the profession of dental hygiene and promote oral health in your local and state community.
